Our Females
Our female genetics are combined with champion bull bloodlines by natural matings & artificial insemination. We have a diverse genetic pool within our herd & will continue to diversify to improve our cattle, enabling us to supply elite seed stock for Lowline breeders & commercial beef producers both in Australia & overseas.
We aim to produce quiet, fertile, feminine females with good milk & mothering abilities as well as structural soundness. They must have width & depth of body to ensure easy calving. Consistent success at shows with different animals is proof that our breeding program is getting the right results.
Our female lines are consistently producing show broad ribbon winners at the Royal Show around the country. The genetics of Wanamara females are also producing champions for other Australian Lowline studs, which is really exciting for us.
