Wanamara Farm is a working farm growing seedstock (breeding) Australia Lowline stud cattle and producing steers for our grassfed Lowline beef which is sold in Melbourne.
​Visitors can experience our healthy country lifestyle in a beautiful corner of the Benalla district, see our unique cattle, enjoy the birdlife and meet our two pet Dorper sheep, Furphy and Vic.
This historic area has many places of interest, including the Victorian Silo Trail, local wineries and historic towns to visit. Experience the great food & country hospitality at the many local pubs while you are here.
You will be captivated by the beauty and tranquility of our farm and the local area.

Nim's Cottage & Uncle Tom's Cabin provide our guests with the comfort and charm to ensure your stay with us is enjoyable. Close to the silo art trail, wineries, gourmet food, local markets, Winton Raceway, Winton Wetlands and historical Ned Kelly Country, Nim's Cottage (Max 3 people) & Uncle Tom's Cabin (Max 7 people) are the perfect base to discover the many local attractions in the Benalla, Murray and Goulburn Valley regions.
We offer fully self contained accommodation and a pet friendly environment.

Our Farm Animals

We have a very energetic kelpie, Kelly & four cats living with us.
Two friendly sheep, Furphy & Vic will come up for a pat if you have some hay for them.

Our breeding herd of Australian Lowline cattle totals over 100 head, so many cute calves running around at times.

Fresh Farm Produce

A plentiful breakfast for the first morning is provided for our guests, including bacon & fresh eggs from our chooks.

We will also be offering our grass fed Certified Lowline beef for BBQs when available.

We support our local producers & companies by using locally grown & manufactured products.
